If you're a label, agency, or marketing partner running campaigns for multiple artists, you'll need access to each artist’s:
Facebook Page
Instagram Business Account
Ad Account
Pixel
This guide walks you and your artists through the correct way to share these assets using Meta Business Manager so that Smart Noise can use them for ad campaigns.
📦 Who Does What?
Role | Action |
You (label/agency) | Provide your Business Manager ID to the artist |
The artist | Shares the required assets with your Business Manager |
Once done, you’ll be able to launch ads from the artist’s own social pages—so fans see the ad coming directly from the artist, not the label.
🔢 Step 1: Find Your Business Manager ID
You’ll need to send this to the artist.
Log into Meta Business Settings
Scroll down to the “Business Info” section (bottom left)
Copy your Business Manager ID
Send this ID to your artist(s).
👩🎤 Step 2: What the Artist Needs to Do
The artist must log into their own Business Manager and follow these steps.
From the left menu, go to “Partners”
Click “Add”
Paste the Business Manager ID you gave them
Click “Next”
They’ll now see a list of all assets they can share with you.
✅ Step 3: The Artist Shares the Required Assets
From this screen, the artist can select and share the assets you need to run ads on Smart Noise:
Asset Type | Access Level Required | Why It’s Needed |
Facebook Page |
| Required to run Meta ads from their artist page |
Instagram Account |
| Required to run Instagram ads through Smart Noise |
Ad Account |
| Required to charge their own card for ad spend (optional) |
Pixel |
| Required to track events on Smart Noise pages |
After selecting the assets and permissions, the artist should click “Save Changes”.
⚠️ The artist must be an admin of all assets they’re sharing, or else they won’t be able to grant access.
🎯 Bonus: What Happens Next
Once the artist shares their assets:
You’ll see them appear inside your Business Manager
When you log into Smart Noise and launch a campaign, you’ll be able to select their Page, Pixel, Instagram, etc.
The campaign will run from the artist’s profile but be managed by you
This gives you full control while preserving the artist’s brand visibility.
🔁 Example Flow
Let’s say your label is Smart Noise and your artist is Drake.
Here’s how it plays out:
You give Drake your Business Manager ID.
Drake logs into their Business Manager, goes to “Partners,” adds your ID.
Drake shares their:
Facebook Page
Instagram Account
Ad Account (optional)
Pixel (optional)
You now see all these inside your Business Manager—and you’re ready to run Smart Noise ads using their socials.
❓FAQs
Q: Can I use my own Ad Account instead of the artist’s?
Yes, but their Facebook and Instagram pages must still be shared with you. Using their own ad account is helpful if they want to pay directly for ad spend.
Q: Can the artist revoke access later?
Yes. They can remove your access to any asset at any time inside their Business Manager under “Partners.”
Q: Do I need to repeat this for every artist I work with?
Yes. Each artist must share their assets with your Business Manager individually.
Q: Do I need to add their assets inside Smart Noise manually?
No. Once access is granted and you've logged in with your Meta account inside Smart Noise, their assets will appear when building a campaign.
