At the moment, Smart Noise does not support the direct import of email lists from external sources (e.g. CSV, Mailchimp, Google Sheets).
Currently, the platform is designed to collect fan data organically, through specific fan actions—primarily via our Lifetime Pre-Saves, Classic Pre-Saves, and Discovery Funnels.
This ensures that every fan in your Smart Noise dashboard has opted in through one of your campaigns and has taken an action (like a pre-save or playlist follow) tied directly to your music.
Why This Matters
Our system is built to automatically:
• Track fan activity (opens, clicks, return visits)
• Send personalized, automated emails on release day
• Optimize future fan engagement using only verified, high-intent interactions
This setup guarantees better deliverability and relevance, since every contact in your fan database has been captured through Smart Noise’s tools and experiences.
What If I Already Have an Email List?
We understand many artists already have fan lists from other platforms—and we’re actively working on a feature to let you import existing fan contacts directly into Smart Noise.
This will allow you to:
• Centralize all your fan data
• Leverage Smart Noise’s built-in email automation
• Combine your existing audience with new Smart Noise leads

If you’d like to make use of your current email list, we suggest:
• Sending those fans to your Smart Noise pre-save or campaign pages to convert them into Smart Noise leads
• Including Discovery Funnel or Lifetime Pre-Save links in your email newsletters to begin tracking engagement
