How the Fan CRM works

Updated over a week ago

The Fan CRM is where all your fan data lives inside Smart Noise. It gives you a complete view of your audience and lets you manage, import, and download fans with ease.

How fans are added to your CRM

Fans will automatically appear in your CRM when they interact with your campaigns:

  • Classic pre-saves

  • Lifetime pre-saves

  • Imported fans (via CSV upload)

You can also import your own fan lists at any time by using the CSV template provided during the import process.

What information you’ll see

For each fan, the CRM shows:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone number (if available)

  • Location

  • Source (where they came from)

  • Date joined

  • Platform (Spotify, Apple Music, etc. or Imported)

Fan history

Click on any fan in your CRM to see their full activity history, such as:

  • When they pre-saved a release

  • If they clicked on a link

  • If they opened an email

  • If they clicked inside an email

This gives you a clear picture of how engaged each fan is with your music.

Lifetime pre-save counter

At the top of your CRM, you’ll also see the total number of lifetime pre-saves your account has collected.

Importing fans

When importing fans, make sure to use the CSV file template provided by Smart Noise. This ensures your fan data is formatted correctly and imports without errors.
