What is a Classic Pre-Save Page?
A Classic Pre-Save Page is a landing page that lets fans pre-save your upcoming release on Spotify and/or Apple Music before it’s live.
When someone pre-saves:
They authorize Smart Noise to add your song to their library the moment it drops
You can collect their email and/or phone number
On release day, the page automatically transforms into an Existing Release Page, showing live streaming links and your fans can also receive an email notification.
It’s the easiest way to build hype, grow your fanbase, and boost your release-day algorithm impact on Spotify.
✅ What You Need to Set One Up
Before you can publish a Classic Pre-Save Page, you’ll need:
Release Date – The exact release date of your song (must be set in the future)
Spotify URL, URI or ISRC – Required to trigger the pre-save
Artwork – Upload a square image (1:1 ratio recommended)
Tip: You can find your Spotify URI inside your Spotify for Artists dashboard or directly in your distributor’s dashboard after scheduling the release.
🔘 Pre-Save Buttons
Spotify pre-save (required)
Apple Music pre-add (optional)
Once the fan clicks, they’ll be prompted to log in and authorize the pre-save.
You cannot add direct Spotify or Apple Music links to this page before the release—only the pre-save buttons will show.
🧰 Additional Links
You can add custom links to:
YouTube
Bandcamp
Your website
Merch store
Any other URL
These can help drive traffic to other platforms while still capturing pre-saves.
Note: You can’t add alternate Spotify or Apple Music links. These are reserved for post-release.
