Watch this video to resolve the issue quickly:
If you’re seeing an error in your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad account saying that your Pixel isn’t available when trying to launch a campaign, don’t worry—it’s a simple fix. This usually happens because the Pixel hasn’t been shared with the ad account you’re trying to use.
Here’s how to resolve it in just a few steps:
🔧 Step-by-Step: Share Your Pixel with the Ad Account
1. Go to your Meta Business Settings
• Visit business.facebook.com
• Navigate to your Business Settings
2. Click on “Data Sources” > “Pixels”
• In the left-hand menu, find the Data Sources section
• Click on Pixels
• Select the Pixel you want to use (the one causing the error)
3. Click on “Connected Assets”
• In the Pixel settings, look for the option labeled Connected Assets
• Click Add Assets
4. Select Your Ad Account
• Choose the ad account you want to run the campaign from
• Click Save or Assign
✅ That’s it! The Pixel is now shared with your ad account and can be used to track and optimize your campaigns.
🧠 Why This Matters
If your Pixel isn’t shared with your ad account:
• Your ads won’t track conversions properly
• Events won’t be recorded
• You might not be able to publish campaigns at all
By assigning the Pixel to your ad account, Meta allows that account to access the Pixel data for tracking and optimization.
Still Not Working?
If you’ve shared the Pixel but still see errors:
• Make sure you selected the correct ad account
• Refresh your Meta Ads Manager
• Try clearing your browser cache or using incognito mode
