How Messages Work

Updated over a week ago

The Messages feature allows you to send one-off broadcasts directly to your fans. Currently, Messages support emails, and soon you’ll also be able to send SMS.

Messages are powered by your Fan CRM — any fan saved inside your CRM can be reached with a Message.

How Messages work

  1. Go to Messages in your Smart Noise dashboard.

  2. Click Create new message.

  3. Write your message and subject line.

  4. (Optional) Add a button for your call-to-action (e.g., “Get Tickets,” “Stream Now,” “Shop Merch”).

  5. Send your message to fans in your CRM.

When to use Messages

Messages are a great way to:

  • Announce new tours or shows

  • Promote new releases

  • Sell tickets or merch

  • Share updates with your fanbase

Tracking results

After sending a Message, you’ll be able to see key metrics such as:

  • Open rate

  • Click-through rate

This helps you measure fan engagement and improve your future broadcasts.

Credits and plans

  • Free plan users → Messages are not available.

  • Paid plan users → Each plan includes a set number of monthly credits.

👉 1 credit = 1 email sent.

If you need to send more than your plan includes, you can purchase additional credits at a low price directly in your account.
